A Night Routine for an Energetic Morning

Published on

Ever wondered why some people wake up energetic and excited for another new day? Keeping a night routine, having a good night’s sleep and time management are all part of kicking off your day. How to do that? Read more and figure it out!

PLAN YOUR DAY AHEAD

A big part of a having a good day is having it planned. Planning your day gives you the luxury of organizing it and thinking about what you want to do, what you need to do and what you should do. Every night, write down what’s needed for the next day. Prioritize it based on importance and urgency. This will give you room the next day to just follow the list and you won’t need to be forced to think about what to do or when to do it. It is already planned!

PREPARE YOUR OUTFITS

This might sound like a silly insignificant part but think of it, how many times have you stopped in before your closet with absolutely no idea of what to wear? Probably a lot. Solve this problem before you sleep and think of what you want to wear. Once you decide, pick the outfit and lay it down on the couch. This will save you a lot of time in the morning and guess what? You will be able to sleep these extra 5 minutes!

KEEP YOUR PHONE AWAY

Reminders and alarm already set? It’s time to keep your phone away and head to your bed. We are not supposed to be looking at the screen just scrolling until we sleep. Our brains need rest. And preparing yourself for a good night’s sleep is part of that. Have you ever woken up feeling tired even though you slept for an adequate time? That’s probably the reason; our brains are always working; when you keep getting notifications all night while you’re asleep, your brain is still awake. So set your reminders, put it on silent and keep it away from you. This will guarantee you a more peaceful and comfortable sleep.

CHERISH YOUR ALONE TIME

Drink your favorite tea or coffee. Read a book. Or listen to a peaceful meditating song. You can also write down your thoughts about the day and let out any negative thoughts you’re getting. Writing your thoughts will make you feel better and will prevent you from overthinking about every single bad thing happened during the day. Be consistent and do it every day for efficient results. It will be a time just for you doing what you love the most.
